Yoko

This is a picture story I shot on Yoko Tatsuta, a woman who coordinates the visit to the USA for international students for EF Educational Homestays Program. She spent months planning for the 3 weeks her group of Chinese students would be here. Her dedication to this job stems from her passion to help international students bridge the culture gap between countries. An international student herself, Yoko came to the USA when she was around 20 and is now studying to be a high school counselor for international students. 

I had fun shooting this story, here are the images and multimedia. 

Normandy D-Day Beach

I came across some old photos I shot several years ago with my old 35mm Sigma at the Normandy D-Day Beach. It was a perfect foggy/rainy day for visiting this area.

I love shooting in PDX because of the beautiful light. I took these while waiting to board my flight back to Burbank yesterday evening.

I went to Ka Nee Ta, a hot springs resort on a Native American Reserve in Oregon with my four best friends. We had a good time to say the least.

Santa Cruz Island

Besides the fact that my allergies were trying to kill me, I had a great time shooting grass and rocks with my boyfriend at Santa Cruz Island. It's nice to get out and shoot for fun on my breaks between session, and this island is BEAUTIFUL! I can't wait to go back... with allergy meds.. non-drowsy this time.
